The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team at Wales Bus in Smithfield. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to trucks, buses, coaches, and trailers, ensuring a high-quality finish and enhancing their aesthetic appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces, select appropriate paints and materials, and utilise spray painting techniques to achieve desired results
  • Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
  • Complete paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Maintain spray booths and equipment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Trade Qualified Spray Painter (essential)
  • Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry (preferred)
  • Full Australian Working rights and valid drivers' licence
