The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Coating Specialist to join our team at Wales Bus in Smithfield, reporting to the Production Manager.
You will be responsible for applying coatings and paints to trucks, buses, coaches, and trailers, ensuring a high-quality finish and enhancing their aesthetic appearance.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces, select appropriate paints and materials, and utilise coating techniques to achieve desired results
- Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
- Complete coating jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
- Maintain coating booths and equipment
Requirements:
- Be a Trade Qualified Coating Specialist (essential)
- Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry (Preferred)
- Have full Australian Working rights and valid drivers license
