The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Coatings Technician to join our team at AMA GROUP AUSTRALIA in Smithfield.

This role involves applying coatings and paints to trucks, buses, coaches, and trailers, ensuring a high-quality finish and enhancing their aesthetic appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces, select appropriate coatings and materials, and utilise coating techniques to achieve desired results
  • Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
  • Complete coating jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Maintain coating booths and equipment
Requirements:
  • Be a Trade Qualified Coatings Technician (essential)
  • Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry (preferred)
  • Have full Australian Working rights and a valid drivers license
