About the Role
Our Finance Transformation & Operations team is seeking a Commercial Lending Specialist to manage settlement processes for Commercial property and goodwill lending transactions. This role involves preparing legal documentation, communicating with sales teams and credit analysts, ensuring conditions precedent are satisfied, and reviewing all documentation before settlement and release of funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage settlement process from documentation through to disbursement of funds at settlement
- Prepare legal documentation for in-house settlements and instruct external lawyers for other settlements
- Communicate with sales teams and credit analysts to obtain required information
- Ensure conditions precedent are satisfied and necessary approvals obtained prior to settlement
- Review all documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a wide knowledge of different commercial lending products, experience in banking and finance industry in similar roles, basic knowledge of Personal Property Securities (PPS), and Microsoft suite of products. You should also have excellent attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations.
