As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and recommending products and services by providing on-farm agronomic advice in relation to horticulture, vegetable, and irrigated cropping for our key accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Market the company's products and services by calling on targeted customers to discuss their requirements and maximise sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with current and future customers, vendor companies, and their representatives.
- Provide analytical services, including soil and plant sample tests, and crop checking.
- Stay up-to-date on agronomic products, trends, and services.
- Relay competitive sales, pricing, and marketing information to management.
- Organise and attend grower meetings, field days, farm walks, displays, and exhibitions.
- Tertiary qualifications in agriculture or a related discipline.
- Agsafe Accreditation is highly desirable.
- A highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner.
- High-level reasoning, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- The ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
