We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Blakeney Lodge, a leading aged care provider in Tumut. As a Culinary Expert, you will be responsible for preparing fresh and nutritious meals for our residents, managing kitchen resources, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

About the Role:

  • Meal Preparation: Prepare high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen resources, including equipment and food supplies, within your approved budget.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Expertise: A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) and a Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate are essential for this role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: A reliable team player with a kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
