Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Instrument Technician to join our Perioperative Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a casual position, offering a great chance to work within a supportive and professional team and contribute to the delivery of safe patient care.

  • Provide sterilisation support by cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilising reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Work under supervision to ensure the requirements of the surgical services department are met.
Key Requirements
  • A Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Services is required for Grade 3 or 4 Levels. A desirable qualification for Grades 1 or 2.
  • Prior experience working in a CSSD team is essential.
  • A good understanding of the role of an Instrument Technician is necessary.
  • Proficiency complying with standards of practice and demonstrated accountability for actions in all aspects of the work environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
