We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Regulatory Services unit, providing expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters. As a Senior Regulatory Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the registration of non-state schools in Queensland, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing recommendations and advice on regulatory activities and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective record-keeping practices and data quality assurance.
  • Identifying and responding to risks in the sector through risk-based decision making and escalating matters accordingly.
  • Contributing to the implementation of operational policy initiatives to improve regulatory processes and practice.
  • Preparing accurate and well-written communication on regulatory matters, including correspondence, reports, briefs, and regulatory decisions.

  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy in a regulatory environment.
