As a regulatory expert in early childhood education and care, you play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative standards.

About the Role
  • You will conduct thorough investigations and make informed decisions that directly impact the wellbeing of children.

We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in investigative and decision-making processes to work collaboratively with our Compliance Team to resolve complex matters and drive continuous improvement in the sector.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Apply relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines fairly and consistently when undertaking regulatory functions.
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with early childhood education and care providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve regulatory objectives.
  3. Manage the implementation of consistent, transparent, and robust regulatory practice in accordance with policy frameworks.
  4. Provide recommendations informed by data analysis and accurate interpretation of legislation.
  5. Identify and respond to risk in the early childhood education and care sector through application of risk-based decision making.
  6. Implement operational initiatives drawing on feedback, evaluation, and data analysis to improve regulatory processes and practices.
  7. Contribute to effective record keeping practices, data quality assurance, and modelling appropriate use of regulatory systems.
