Project Manager: Localization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our localization efforts and ensure seamless delivery of high-quality projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the full lifecycle of translation and localization projects, with a focus on quality checks to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from receipt to completion
  • Liaise with clients to assess project parameters and requirements
  • Select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively
  • Establish and maintain relationships with linguists globally
  • Monitor project status to anticipate and prevent issues
  • Audit and complete project finances accurately
  • Maintain project documentation and information
  • Adhere to the Quality Management System
  • Comply with procedures and SOPs
  • Maintain linguistic assets including glossaries and style guides
  • Prioritize QC tasks to deliver on time
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Project Management within the Language Services industry
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a linguistic, business or scientific field
  • Fluency in English is essential; an additional language advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Independence and initiative
  • Demonstrated advanced IT skills
  • Experience working with TMS and CAT tools beneficial
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships
