Project Coordination Role:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and directing translation and localization projects to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple translation and localization projects simultaneously, coordinating tasks and timelines with vendors and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with clients to assess project requirements and develop effective project plans
  • Evaluate project scope to select suitable vendors and negotiate deadlines efficiently
  • Nurture relationships with freelance and in-house linguists worldwide, ensuring high-quality outputs
  • Monitor and manage project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions proactively
  • Accurately manage project finances, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records
  • Adhere to quality management standards and procedures, ensuring consistency and excellence in all projects
  • Support the maintenance of linguistic assets, including glossaries and style guides
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance checks are conducted on all projects, maintaining exceptional standards
  • Prioritize and complete assigned quality control tasks to meet project deadlines
  • Verify accurate translation implementation, ensuring target text follows source content, and all tracked changes are accurately reflected
  • Conduct meticulous review and verification of documents, focusing on both linguistic and non-linguistic elements to uphold high-quality standards
