Job Description

The SHE and Quality Manager role is a pivotal position that shapes sustainability, safety, and quality across Australia and New Zealand. This leader will drive compliance, innovation, and growth while fostering a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategic direction for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) by delivering the roadmap aligned with the company's excellence framework.
  • Lead a team of three to build a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 implementations are in place, guaranteeing regulatory and internal alignment.
  • Design innovative recycling programs, reduce waste, and support net zero ambitions.
  • Deliver engaging training, conduct audits, and strengthen crisis and continuity planning.
  • Travel across Australia and New Zealand (5–6 times per year for 1–2 weeks each trip) to stay connected with regional teams and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires:

  • A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Lead auditor certification and HSE credentials (e.g., BCSP, IOSH) preferred.
  • Proven experience in SHEQ systems, profit and loss management, and cross-functional leadership.
