About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Multisite Security Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Control Room Operator position with Securecorp.
Job Description:
- Critical Responsibilities:
- Monitor, operate, and review CCTV systems
- Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated stakeholders
- Maintain accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities, and visitor logs
- Critically assess and respond to situations of risk in line with standard operating procedures
- Operate a two-way radio communication network for security personnel and manage their deployment
- Access control for personnel, employees, and visitors
- Participate in ongoing training programs and exercises
Key Selection Criteria:
We're looking for candidates who possess:
- Strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels (desired)
- Knowledge of software such as Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, or Passagepoint (highly regarded)
- A current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- A valid Driver's licence with transport
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently
Working Conditions:
This role involves working rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight. The roster includes weeks 1&3 (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) and weeks 2&4 (Monday/Tuesday/Saturday/Sunday).
