Broadcast Technician Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Broadcast Technician to maintain the integrity of our transmission systems and associated infrastructure.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding effectively to on-the-job training with various team members in service restoration, corrective and preventative maintenance of our client's transmission systems and infrastructure.
  • Participating in the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast and communication equipment.
  • Completing performance tests on all equipment to prove contract compliance.
  • Implementing appropriate service restoration actions and escalating technical issues to field callout technicians.
  • Providing written and verbal reports to the Network Operations Centre and carrying out office and site housekeeping and field support activities as required.

Key qualifications for this role include a strong background in electronics technology, RF experience, and a passion for working in a rapidly changing technological environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with others and work effectively as part of a team.

This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work variable hours, including after-hours shifts and travel away from home every other month. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and require all candidates to undergo pre-employment and routine medical assessments.
