Transmission Line Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled transmission line engineer to fill this critical role. This key member of our power engineering team will be responsible for shaping the transmission backbone of Australia's energy network.

As a seasoned transmission line engineer, you will work on some of Australia's largest transmission projects, collaborating with clients to deliver innovative technical solutions from 66kV to 500kV.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead transmission line engineering projects as the technical expert
  2. Develop design solutions for transmission projects, working closely with clients to understand their project brief and technical requirements
  3. Implement innovative solutions, leveraging expertise in PLS-CADD or TOWER software
  4. Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and experience to develop their skills

Requirements:

  • Solid fundamentals in power engineering, with a proven track record of delivering robust and innovative designs
  • Leadership and coaching skills, with experience mentoring emerging engineers
  • Broad range of skills beyond transmission line engineering, allowing contribution to the power business in a broader sense
  • Knowledge of engineering disciplines, regulations, policies, and procedures
