It is an exciting time in the industry as we are leading the transition to Australia's clean energy future, with a growing network and the extra career opportunities that this growth brings.The Opportunity | Commencing October - December 2025 | Multiple Locations Available - Yass, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth, Newcastle, Orange & Sydney MetroAs aTransmission Lines Technician, you will play a vital role and be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repairs and construction of transmission line assets across our transmission network.
You'll provide technical expertise to ensure our critical infrastructure meets customer expectations and reliability standards.Whether responding to emergency incidents, managing scheduled maintenance, or delivering major construction projects, you'll be part of a team that puts safety, teamwork, and technical excellence at the forefront of everything we do.What You'll DoPerform installation, maintenance and repair of transmission line assets.Carry out inspections and identify condition concerns.Prepare safe work methods and associated safety documentationMentor apprentices and junior technicians.Act as crew leader where appropriate.Coordinate with Field Coordinators and Site Managers.What We OfferRelocation Support & Assistance.Travel & Away from Home Allowances.Fully equipped vehicle supplied with the option of limited personal use where available + All Tools of the Trade included.20

We put you and your family first.Total Package from $115,085 | Includes Base Salary + Field Allowance + General Purpose Allowance + 16% SuperannuationWhat We're Looking ForCertificate III in ESI - Power Systems – Transmission and/or Distribution OverheadFlexibility to support on call/afterhours requests and respond to system incidentsA current Australian Driver's LicenseUnderstanding of the inspection, maintenance and construction requirements associated with transmission line infrastructureHigh Risk Work Licenses (e.g. WP, RA, CV).
Experience in high-voltage maintenance (pole replacement, insulator changeouts, hot joint repair, etc.)What's in it for you?
