Financial Analyst Role

The Financial Analyst position is a key role within our organization, responsible for performing month-end and settlement procedures in Xero. This involves leading the month-end process, including preparing management accounts, investigating discrepancies, providing commentary, and variance analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quarterly financial reports and completing balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, they will develop and present budgets, forecasts, and business cases to stakeholders.

As part of this role, you will monitor cash flow through analysis of actual and projected performance, reporting weekly to management. You will also prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to Site Managers, management, and stakeholders.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of management accounting principles and techniques. A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within industries such as Retirement, Aged Care, Building, Construction, Property Development, or Real Estate is required.

Required qualifications include an advanced Degree in Accounting and CPA or CA qualification. Advanced proficiency with accounting and CRM software is also necessary.

This permanent full-time position is based in the CBD.
