Job Title: Key Performance Accountant

We are seeking an experienced key performance accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key performance accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success through effective financial management and strategic planning.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual compliance, including financial statements and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Complete GST and tax reconciliations, as well as prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional client service, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives, supporting junior staff members and providing guidance where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a reputable firm, with a strong background in accounting and financial management.
  • Currently studying towards your CA or CPA (or be willing to commence), with a proven track record of academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to provide training, support, and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
