About the Role

Reporting to the Taree Office Manager, you will take on a senior role in delivering high-quality services to clients and supporting the development of our team. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and offers exposure to both compliance and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing accurate financial reports, workpapers, statements, and tax returns
  • Advising clients on accounting and tax issues, providing proactive recommendations
  • Taking ownership of client meetings, from individual tax to company and trust presentations
  • Assisting managers with workflow planning, job allocation, and offshore staff coordination
  • Driving system and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff with queries and compliance issues
  • Developing skills in tax planning and advisory through mentoring from branch managers
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
What We're Looking For
  • CPA/CA qualified (or working towards completion)
  • Strong public practice experience with sound tax and compliance knowledge
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Proactive and solutions-driven with strong attention to detail
  • A supportive team player, with a willingness to mentor and guide junior staff
