Job Description

The Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Workday platform, including configuration, business process maintenance, security, and user access. This role will also lead or support Workday-related projects such as system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • System Administration: Manage the Workday platform, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with organisational policies and sector standards.
  • Project Management: Lead or support Workday-related projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support operational requirements, providing insights that inform business decisions.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday support and other third-party vendors or consultants, ensuring smooth relationships and optimal outcomes.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to effectively utilise the Workday platform.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure data integrity and compliance with organisational policies and sector standards, maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Significant experience in Workday administration and modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, etc.) and calculated fields.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • A current driver's licence and safe driving record, with a willingness to travel between sites and services when required.
  • Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
