This role is ideal for UK-trained pharmacists looking to transition into the Australian market.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the requirements set by the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and register with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

  • APC Eligibility: submit necessary documents, including a Certificate of Good Standing from the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Competency Assessment of Overseas Pharmacists (CAOP) Exam: pass the written exam
  • AHPRA Registration: apply for full registration after completing supervised practice
Work Visa Options

Candidates can choose from three work visa options:

  • Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491): temporary visa for skilled workers in designated regional areas
  • Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494): employer-sponsored visa for skilled workers
  • Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417): temporary visa allowing young adults to work and travel in Australia
