Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification, and at least 5 years of experience in accounting. A manufacturing industry background is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closure on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial results to identify trends, explain variances, and assess operational influences.
  • Develop close working relationships with senior management teams to present financial insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Presentation of detailed reports highlighting cost behaviours and overall business performance metrics.
  • Oversee cost accounting activities, including maintaining product costing data and conducting inventory assessments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by delivering precise analysis and meaningful commentary.
  • Assist with audit preparations and respond to internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Provide financial guidance and training to stakeholders as required.
  • Manage tax-related accounting entries and perform related reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Academic qualifications include degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in accounting role, preferably with a manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in using large ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Netsuite.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with solid analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated individual able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
