About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective return to work plans that promote early intervention, safe reintegration, and optimal recovery for employees with workplace injuries or non-work health conditions.

  • Proactively manage work injury processes, including workers' compensation and return to work strategies, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies;
  • Liaise with external partners, such as insurance providers, claims administrators, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate seamless communication and cooperation;
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative efforts in implementing injury management strategies;
  • Monitor progress and report on the status of workers' compensation and non-work rehabilitation programs to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement;
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A proven track record of experience in workers' compensation and injury management, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices;
  • Return to work certification and a commitment to ongoing professional development;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline (desirable).
