Water Management Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Management Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining site water infrastructure.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on site water systems, including pipework, tanks, and control valves.
  • Remove and install multistage bore pumps, centrifugal pumps, fire pumps, and isolation/control valves.
  • Ensure all generators and pumps are properly refueled.
  • Identify faults within the water network and notify relevant teams accordingly.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including IT loaders, telehandlers, excavators, and light/medium trucks.
  • Conduct polywelding and basic fabrication work.
  • Manage and operate a large-scale water distribution system and oversee pond levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in water services operations, including exposure to bore fields, mine planning, equipment isolations, and water compliance requirements.
  • Polywelding and fabrication certification.
  • High-Risk Work Licences (HRWL) – LF, DG, and CN desirable.
  • A valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A strong commitment to zero harm and continuous improvement practices.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is advantageous.
