Water Management Specialist RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Water Management Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within our water infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the water utilities sector, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. They will also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing assets to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies;
  • Develop and maintain governance plans for compliant management of potable water infrastructure;
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize water treatment plant processes;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant trade with water industry experience;
  • Detailed knowledge of ADWG, ANCOLD, Drinking Water Schemes, Drinking Water Protection plants, and Source protection plans;
  • Experience with the Water Services Act, water asset management, and coordinating with regulators and stakeholders;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
