Water Infrastructure Operations Specialist

A Water Infrastructure Operations Specialist is a crucial role in the maintenance, operation, and support of water infrastructure systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of water infrastructure and equipment
- Safety Management: Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Excavation Techniques: Safely work around live, old, and fragile services using hand and mechanical excavation tools
- Plan Interpretation: Ability to read and understand detailed infrastructure plans
- Documentation Practices: Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and repairs
- Collaborative Working: Work effectively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Working Conditions: Ability to perform manual tasks in remote locations, including the Pilbara region of Northwest WA (FIFO)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in water utility operations or a related field
- Construction Industry White Card (mandatory)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- MR Driver's Licence
- Excavator Operator Certification
- PVC Pipelaying Skills
- Identify, Locate and Protect Services Training
