About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our community team, working on a casual basis in the North Shore area. You'll have the flexibility to choose your shifts, with options for Monday and Tuesday, and some weekend work available. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional care, and we're looking for someone who shares our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in their own homes, including health assessments, chronic wound care, and medication administration.
  • Build rapport with patients and their families, providing education and support to meet their individual needs.
  • Work autonomously, using your clinical expertise to make decisions and take charge of patient care.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless care transitions and excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Working with Children Check/DCSI or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • 2 years' recent acute experience and ability to spot client deterioration.
  • Experience in PICC care, dressing, and removal, as well as chronic wound care and cannulation skills.
  • Competent IT skills and literacy.
