The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our community team in Newcastle, working on a casual, ongoing basis. You'll have the flexibility to choose your shifts, with opportunities to work Monday to Friday and ad-hoc weekend shifts if desired. Our hours are designed to be family-friendly, with a range of shifts available between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes, including health assessments, chronic wound care, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct telehealth appointments with patients, providing convenient and accessible care from the comfort of their own homes.
What We're Looking For
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience working in community nursing, with a focus on delivering a broad range of nursing care and interventions.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Competent IT skills and literacy.
