The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our community team in Newcastle, working on a casual, ongoing basis. You'll have the flexibility to choose your shifts, with hours available Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work. Our team is passionate about improving healthcare experiences and championing greater access, choice, and control for people in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and interventions to patients in their homes
  • Work autonomously with a patient-centered approach, using your skills and experience to make a real difference
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct health assessments, chronic wound care, and medication administration, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families
What We're Looking For
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Working with Children Check/DCSI or equivalent
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • 2 years' recent acute experience and ability to spot client deterioration
  • Experience in PICC care, dressing, and removal, as well as chronic wound care and cannulation skills
  • Competent IT skills and literacy
