About the Role

The Expert Portfolio Strategist will be responsible for:

  • Developing long-term capex and opex investment plans
  • Creating a range of portfolio reports and analytics
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis to draw out meaningful insights and make recommendations
  • Maintaining portfolio governance artefacts that underpin expenditure optimisation

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting investment owners in Electricity Networks teams to upload 10-year forecasts into the Asset Investing Planning Tool (Copperleaf)
  • Reviewing investment projects/programs and validating benefit streams against the Value Framework
  • Analysing forecasted price and volume movements against historical performance
  • Developing analytical reports to support scenario analysis and review portfolio management outcomes within the budget year
  • Producing analysis of portfolio data from various sources to draw out insights and make recommendations
  • Presenting data in concise tables and graphs showing clear trending and areas of focus
  • Supporting the maintenance of process documentation for the portfolio management framework
  • Validating project costs and benefits that underpin economic assessment
