PMO Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior PMO Consultant to join our team and deliver high-quality services to clients.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering PMO services for technology projects and programs, establishing and operating the PMO for a project, program, or portfolio, improving PMO capabilities, implementing robust processes, and supporting overall governance and controls.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation, guiding other members of the PMO team, and aligning existing PMO practices with changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management Office (PMO) Services: Deliver high-quality PMO services for technology projects and programs.
  2. Establish and Operate PMO: Establish and operate the PMO for a project, program, or portfolio.
  3. Improve PMO Capabilities: Improve PMO capabilities by implementing robust processes and supporting overall governance and controls.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation.
Requirements:
  • A proven ability to add value within project, program &/or portfolio PMOs.
  • A record of successfully delivering PMO services for technology projects & programs.
  • Abilities in establishment and tracking of governance and controls for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios.
  • Stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
