Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Sydney, NSW for a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects, analyzing project requirements, collaborating with project managers and engineers, sourcing and managing supplier and subcontractor quotations, and maintaining an organized database of estimates and historical data. The role involves continual evaluation and improvement of estimating processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience with preparing and analyzing cost estimates and project requirements
  • Strong skills in sourcing and managing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Proficiency in maintaining and updating databases of estimates and historical data
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with project managers and engineers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prior experience in the construction industry or related field is beneficial
