We are seeking a skilled and empathetic care professional to provide comprehensive support for a female with complex health needs.
- Seizure Management, including oxygen administration per management plan if required
- Administering medication (GTN) during seizures for oesophageal spasms
- Pressure Care and Skin Integrity checks
- Fluid Management per management plan
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Light household tasks
- Laundry
- Meal Prep
- Prompting for Webster packed medications and subcutaneous injections
- Prompting for eating and drinking
The care recipient has interests in cooking, gardening, and creative pursuits. Knowledge of neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and sensory processing disorders is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering exceptional patient care, prioritizing their comfort and well-being
- Coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medical management
- Maintaining accurate records of care activities and medication administration
