Wellbeing Officer - Team Player

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Wellbeing Administration Officer in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Student Wellbeing team, you will provide administrative support and services to ensure students and patients are well supported and directed.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative services, including managing appointments and enquiries, maintaining records, and supporting finance processes. They will also coordinate meetings and events, and provide conference support for Student Wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen, address, and escalate health and safety concerns/complaints related to university teams.
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager, Student Wellbeing Engagement and Systems, to ensure smooth daily operations and effective service delivery.
  • Provide proactive problem-solving and risk management to ensure the well-being of students and staff.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote student well-being.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need tertiary qualifications and relevant working experience. You should have demonstrated experience working in a patient-facing administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of CRM and practice management/booking systems is highly desirable.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is skilled in collaborative and inclusive forms of communication, with an emphasis on respect, clarity, and professionalism. Mental Health First Aid certification would be highly desirable, as would language skills alongside English. A valid Working With Children Check or an ability to obtain one is also required.
