Job Description

The position of Wellbeing Nurse Coordinator is a critical role within the healthcare system, aimed at supporting children and families through the coordination of health care services. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing onsite and virtual outreach services to remote schools in New South Wales.

In this role, you will serve as a link between schools and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and cooperation to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families. You will work closely with children who require additional support with their healthcare needs, assisting them navigate specialist appointments, healthcare providers, and in-school supports.

As part of the wider wellbeing team across the Local Health District, you will support selected primary and high schools in Walgett and surrounding regions. Your expertise and dedication will play a vital role in shaping the future of rural health and improving the overall well-being of our community.
