Job Opportunity: Workplace Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Workplace Coordinator. This role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with employers to secure practical placements for students in vocational education and training (VET).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure practical placements for students
  • Engage with students to assess their eligibility for traineeships and provide support throughout the training delivery process
  • Cold call employers to ensure a continuous pipeline of placement opportunities
  • Meet with students prior to course commencement to understand their needs and barriers to finding placement
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs
  • Travel to classes and work placement provider sites in the greater Melbourne area to deliver presentations and discuss placement opportunities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the training industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training programs and Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated relationship building and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to establish positive organizational relationships
