The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Land Systems Division.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of complex, large-scale projects within the Division.
You will apply your project management skills and experience throughout the project lifecycle, from conception through to introduction into service.
Your responsibilities will include project reporting, briefings, financial management, and submissions to Government.
You will build effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships, engaging regularly with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support project delivery.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as the Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary, for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.

The right person for this role will be an experienced and committed project management professional who is able to undertake complex project management work, and manage and develop a high-performing team to achieve results.
You will be responsible for the management of a range of project activities and coordinate project inputs in accordance with practices and standards appropriate to the complexity of the project.
You will have the ability to shift priorities as demand arises, and be able to make informed decisions and proactively resolve problems.
