This is a dynamic sales role for an experienced Business Development Executive or Manager looking to take the next step and expand their career in hospitality.

The primary focus of this role is on the Melbourne market, where you will be working with a portfolio of hotels including Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer, Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, ibis Styles Hobart, and Novotel Devonport.

No two days are the same in this role. As a Multi-Hotel Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling memorable experiences to guests who stay in your property, building strong relationships and creating bonds with your guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit all market segments (with a strong focus on Leisure and Business groups) and achieve consistent sales objectives.
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate records, contacts, activities, and business details to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.

Essential Skills:
• Demonstrated sales experience in a hotel or related tourism industry.
• Sales flair complemented by exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Well-developed time management and prioritising skills.
• Well-presented with a confident, positive, and approachable demeanour.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
