Asset Management Leader

The Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Leader to spearhead the integration of asset management services, ensuring seamless alignment with NSW Health's Asset Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and review of Asset Management Plans to drive effective budget management and collaboration with the asset management team in developing and maintaining asset management systems.
  • Develop and implement strategic asset management plans and budgets to support the district's objectives.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to develop and maintain asset management systems, providing strategic advice and project management support for ongoing system development.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of asset management principles and practices, as well as experience in middle-upper level management, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment. Proficiency in ICT management systems related to asset management is essential, along with demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial/budget management, including managing large area-wide service contracts and procurement processes.

Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in Building, Engineering, or Trade discipline, or similar attained through extensive experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in middle-upper level management, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in ICT management systems related to asset management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management and asset condition management.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
