Job Title: Senior Construction Site Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced site manager to lead our construction projects in Brisbane. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on mid-to-high-rise apartment developments.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • They will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices, and fostering a positive working environment among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, including timelines and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a site manager on commercial new build projects worth $30M+
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field, such as a degree in building science or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Lean principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
