Job Overview

The Electrical Engineering Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and ensuring the quality of electrical procedures for power generation projects. This position reports to a Manager and is responsible for coordinating, creating, and reviewing construction and commissioning procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and apply methods and techniques to develop electrical installation and commissioning procedures.
  • Review electrical engineering designs, including single-line diagrams and schematic diagrams.
  • Evaluate alternate and direct current designs capable of developing power plant standard equipment installation and commissioning procedures.
  • Knowledge of main power plant electrical components, such as power and distribution transformers and generators.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Technical diploma from an accredited institution.
  • 2-4 years of direct experience in power generation, construction, industrial operation, or a combination of education, training, and experience.
