Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our Field Service team in Laverton, specialising in Power Generation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact and contribute their expertise to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled service works on generator sets and engine control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with engines/generators up to 3350KVA.
  • Modify wiring looms/diagrams as required.
  • Commission new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers.
  • Work closely with the Mechanical Service team to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain a high focus on safety throughout all work activities.
  • Participate in an After Hours on-call roster.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified electrician with a current Electrical Licence and/or Electrical contractor's license.
  • Previous industrial experience in an industrial factory as a senior or sole electrician.
  • In-depth understanding of control systems (including PLC and relay logic).
  • Able to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
  • A current, valid driver's license.
  • Prior experience in Power Generation products is highly regarded but not essential.
