Drilling Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Operations Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing drilling teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and meeting operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement drilling plans to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity
  • Lead and manage drilling teams to ensure safe working practices and adherence to company policies
  • Monitor and report on drilling performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of drilling operations with overall business objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on drilling activities, including safety incidents and equipment maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in drilling operations management, preferably in the mining industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire drilling teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Certification in drilling operations management or a related field is highly desirable
