Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced trainer to join our team in Adelaide CBD.

The successful candidate will be joining a flourishing campus with a strong reputation for producing quality, industry-ready graduates.

The ideal candidate will have current knowledge and skills in community services, individual support, disability, mental health, and leisure and health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a qualification in any of the following: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), Certificate IV in Disability & Certificate IV in Mental Health
  • Have academic teaching experience in VET, including developing training materials, face-to-face delivery, student engagement, and student assessment
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry and VET currency
  • Understand monthly upload requirements
  • Conduct work placement visits (desirable)

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training
  • Vocational qualifications that are equal to or above what is being delivered
  • Relevant experience and industry currency in the area that is being trained and assessed
  • Ability to demonstrate practical skills during lab sessions with students
  • Strong level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, and organisational skills
  • A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)

  • Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
