About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to promote dignity and independence.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support to promote independence and well-being.

What We Look for in a Care Worker
  • You are passionate about assisting our elderly community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • You are able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
