About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Major Events Officer where you will lead the planning and execution of major events ensuring they are delivered on time and successfully. You will develop event management plans, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
To be successful in this role you will need to have strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering large-scale events. Experience in budget management, sponsorship acquisition, and stakeholder engagement is also essential.
As a Major Events Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing event logistics, supplier contracts, and venue bookings. You will also evaluate event success and recommend improvements for future events.
Key Requirements
">- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Events Management, or equivalent experience in event or venue management.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering large-scale events.
- Experience in budget management, sponsorship acquisition, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
