**Flood Warning Network Coordinator Role Summary:**
The Australian Government is investing in flood warning infrastructure for Australia's highest flood risk areas.
We are seeking a high-performing Flood Warning Network Coordinator to coordinate various projects and contribute to shaping the work of the national flood warning network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technical assessments and lead the delivery of remediation projects for the national flood warning network.
- Work seamlessly with colleagues across multiple Groups and Programs on flood warning network enhancements.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding of operational flood forecasting, total flood warning systems, and geospatial capabilities.
- Built strong partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of operational flood forecasting and total flood warning systems.
- Excellent understanding of geospatial capabilities and ability to synthesise and analyse information.
- Proven commitment to excellence in collaboration, negotiation, and building partnerships and relationships.
