This role involves delivering strategic communications that highlights the work and benefits of the Australian Government's Flood Warning Infrastructure Network Program to internal and external audiences.
The successful candidate will be able to negotiate outcomes, identify potential risks and issues, and meet competing deadlines while underpinning their work with clear logic, considered thinking, and a solid evidence-base.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications with experience adapting communication collateral for various platforms and channels.
They will also demonstrate resilience, attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, develop and deliver effective communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Working closely with local and state governments, as well as teams across the organisation, this role requires an experienced professional to make complex topics accessible to diverse audiences.
