Client Support Specialist

We are seeking dedicated individuals who can provide high-quality support services to clients in our residential rehabilitation program.
The role involves facilitating meetings, transporting clients for activities, and providing general client support with living skills, house hygiene, and tenancy maintenance. It also includes case management, admission of new clients, intake assessments, drug screenings, and therapeutic groups (Smart Recovery & relapse prevention).
This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities including office-based and outreach work, therapeutic and practical services for our residential client group. We aim to create long-term, healthy changes in the lives of our clients and break down stigma associated with AOD use and related issues.

About YouApplicants should have completed or be working towards a Certificate IV in AOD, Mental Health, or Community Services. A qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is also desirable.
Experience in providing intensive support and case work with clients is essential. The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse clients, community groups, and agencies is also crucial.
