The Australian Payments Plus (AP+) Technology Governance Framework is a critical component of our organization's success. As a Governance & Planning Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in championing this framework, ensuring its ongoing integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities- Technology Governance Framework Oversight: Implement policies and procedures to maintain the AP+ Technology governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Framework Enhancement and Optimization: Assess the existing framework and identify areas for enhancement and optimization, driving the adoption and compliance of governance practices throughout the Technology organization.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Develop standard operating procedures for Technology to ensure compliance with corporate governance, ensuring the organization's adherence to industry-specific compliance standards and regulations.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance and improvement initiatives, assessing Technology activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with Technology teams to define governance objectives and align them with business and Technology, providing guidance and support on complying with internal and external policies.
- 6+ years' experience working within an information or data governance function.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Practical experience in the definition and implementation of Technology policies and procedures.
- A good understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management and the conduct of business audits and requirements gathering.
- Understanding the concept of FinOps and contributing to the development of FinOps disciplines and processes; Monitor and report on financial spend against budgets.
